Our story

It started with a coconut.

“

It was early 2021. I was living in San Francisco and went for my morning run to the Golden Gate Bridge. A man was selling fresh, cold coconut water, right in the coconut. As a Brazilian, of course I wanted one. But I couldn't pay. I didn't have my phone or my cards with me.

I was so frustrated. I realized how much we depend on things we carry to pay, to show who we are and to get in. I looked at my fingers and thought: why can't we just touch to pay, to identify or to get in?

That's how OVE was born, from a fresh coconut water.

OVE will be fully live in West Hollywood, Los Angeles in January 2027.
