  • Am I able to add the payment fees on the customer?
    Yes, during the sign-up process you will be able to select this feature and you can change it through your account settings whenever you want. With this feature, you basically free your business of paying payment fees.
  • Am I going to have to change my current POS system?
    No, OVE Touch & Go Business was created to be a different payment option in your store and it will not interfere with what you already have as payment system.
  • What if my business was not approved?
    We will request extra documentation to ensure you meet our criteria. If your business doesn’t meet the criteria we will not be able to approve your account.
  • Is OVE Touch & Go® POS app free?
    Besides not having a sign up, monthly or hidden fees, we charge a 3.05% + 30¢ payment fee for every successful transaction completed through most US-Banks (ACH/Debit payments) and Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners, UnionPay and JCB). Cryptocurrencies are not available at the moment, but we will notify you once they are.
  • Do I need to print the purchase receipts for my customers?
    No, OVE Touch & Go is a sustainable concept which incentivizes customers and businesses to no longer use paper receipts anymore. Every time customers pay using their fingers our system generates a digital receipt of that purchase and automatically stores it in their OVE Touch & Go app. Whenever customers want to access their receipts they will log in on their OVE Touch & Go app and select the charge, the receipt will automatically pop-up. The same approach works for businesses.
  • How is my business protected against payment fraud?
    OVE Touch & Go is more than just a seamless way to pay, it’s a fraud protection ecosystem designed to secure customers and businesses during payment transactions at point-of-sale. All OVE Customers (your customers’) accounts are verified (Identity and payment options), and by the time they arrive at your business they are ready to make purchases with their fingerprints. Every payment touch that will happen in your business is verified and consensually authorized by the customer.
  • Is OVE Touch & Go POS secure?
    Yes, security is key at OVE Touch & Go, where multiple layers of security controls protect your data at all times, including, but not limited to, encryption, data isolation, and dedicated secure zones with restricted access controls. We are also powered by companies like Plaid and Jumio that offer additional layers of authentication and protection. WE DON’T COLLECT, USE OR STORE FINGERPRINT IMAGES IN OUR SYSTEM, INSTEAD, WE CREATE PERSONALIZED TOKENS THAT REPRESENTS FINGERPRINTS. WE ENCRYPT THE TOKENS COMBINED WITH CUSTOMER’S PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION. THE TOKEN ONLY WORKS IN THE OVE TOUCH & GO SYSTEM. BUSINESSES THAT ACCEPT OVE TOUCH & GO DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO ANY FINGERPRINT TOKENS AND PAYMENT INFORMATION. THE OVE MANAGEMENT TEAM HAS RESTRICTED ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION.
  • How and when are my funds transferred to my business account?
    OVE will automatically initiate a payout of Proceeds to your linked US bank account on the following day of the business day at 2 a.m. PT (5 p.m. ET), except on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (which such payout of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Proceeds are initiated the following Monday after 2 a.m. PT (5 p.m. ET).
  • Do I need a smart phone or tablet to use OVE Touch & Go POS?
    Yes, you will need a smart phone or tablet to use OVE, even if you are using the “Portable Checkout” approach (described on the question above), you will need a device to access charges, refunds, transactions and any other features you need during the work day.
  • How does OVE Touch & Go POS adapt to my business structure?
    (Counter-top checkout) – You can charge customers by typing the final price on a tablet linked to an OVE Sensor. It’s a great approach for places where customers come to the counter to pay like in clothing stores, coffee shops, corner stores, etc. (Portable checkout) – You can use the sensor itself to charge customers by simply typing the final price on its own screen. It’s an innovative approach for businesses like restaurants where waiters can bring the sensor and leave it on the table so the customer can add the tip and pay.
  • How can I get started using OVE Touch & Go® POS?
    Signing up is simple and takes just a couple minutes. Scan the QR code above and you will be driven to the app store where you can download the OVE Touch & Go POS app. Sign up and you and your business will get verified. After approval, you will receive a promo code to receive your first OVE Sensor free of charge. Link the OVE Sensor to your account and you will be ready to start charging customers.   • Am I able to charge sale tax?
    Yes, during the sign-up process you will be able to select this feature and you can change it through your account settings whenever you want. You will add the “%” you want to charge your customers as sale tax and the system will automatically add it to your customer’s bill before they pay.
  • How do I connect the OVE Sensors to my account?
    Once you receive your OVE Sensor(s) you will log in into your OVE Touch & Go Business app using a smart phone or tablet. Go to Menu > Sensors > Add OVE Sensors and follow the instructions. The OVE Sensors work on Wi-Fi connection, so make sure you set up them up at the location you will use them. All OVE Sensors work with a cable plugged in or remotely, but they will need to be charged. ONCE THE OVE SENSOR IS CONNECTED TO YOUR OVE TOUCH & GO BUSINESS ACCOUNT IT WILL NOT WORK UNDER OTHER ACCOUNTS.
  • Are my customers able to give tips to my business?
    Yes, during the sign-up process you will be able to select this feature and you can change it through your account settings whenever you want. If this feature is enabled, your customers will be able to select their tip amount by touching the OVE Sensor screen.
  • I’m the owner of a bar, are my customers able to open tabs with OVE?
    Not at the moment, but this feature will be available soon and it will make the life of bartenders much easier and the business more efficient.
  • Am I able to refund my customers?
    Yes, you will be able to do it through the OVE Touch & Go Business app. You can refund charges made to your account, either in whole or in part. There are no fees to refund a charge, but the fees from the original charge aren’t returned.
  • Am I able to add my employees to my account?
    Yes, you can add as many employees as you want to your business account, and each one of them will have a profile protected by a pin where they can manage their charges and tips. If you have selected the “Portable checkout” approach (described on the fourth questions) we advise you to have an individual sensor for each one of your employees.
  • How do I use my fingerprints to pay?
    At checkout, you will see our OVE Sensor (Fingerprint payment machine). Once the price shows up on the screen you will touch the finger linked to the bank account or card you wish to pay, and that is it! For example, if you want to pay with a credit card that you linked to your pointer finger you will touch the pointer finger to pay, if you want to pay with a bank account (ACH) and it is linked to your middle finger you will touch your middle finger to pay.
  • How are my fingerprints uploaded into the system?
    It's an easy one-time setup process. Once you finalize linking your payment options to your different fingerprints you will click on “Upload fingerprints”. There, you will find a list of close proximity businesses that accept OVE Touch & Go. Once you arrive at a store just tap your phone on one of the available OVE Sensors and the fingerprint uploading process will begin. It takes less than 10 seconds for each fingerprint to be uploaded and saved. WE DON’T COLLECT, USE OR STORE FINGERPRINT IMAGES IN OUR SYSTEM, INSTEAD, WE CREATE PERSONALIZED TOKENS THAT REPRESENTS YOUR FINGERPRINT.   • Can I delete my account?
    Yes, OVE Touch & Go allows you to deactivate your account and have a cool off period of 14 days before the account is permanently deleted for future use. In case you wish to use the OVE again after 14 days, you can re-create your account with updated information.
  • Is OVE free?
    Yes, it’s totally free, there are no sign up, monthly or hidden fees.
  • How can I get a receipt using OVE?
    OVE Touch & Go is a sustainable concept which incentivizes customers and businesses to no longer use paper anymore. Every time you pay using your fingers our system generates a digital receipt of that purchase and automatically stores it in your OVE Touch & Go app. Whenever you want to access your receipts just log in on your OVE Touch & Go app and select the charge, the receipt will automatically pop-up.
  • Which payment options can I link to my fingerprints?
    Our system accepts most US-Banks (ACH/Debit payments) and Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners, UnionPay and JCB). Cryptocurrencies are not available at the moment, but we will notify you once they are.
  • How do I delete my fingerprints from OVE?
    Through your customer account on the OVE Touch & Go Customer app, you can click on “Support”, select the option “Fingerprints, and click on ‘Delete fingerprints”. You will be asked to *verify yourself again like you did during the signup process, and once the system is unlocked you will be able to delete your fingerprints. *Security and privacy are keys in OVE’s technology, so we ask customers to re-verify themselves before deleting fingerprints to prevent any type of fraud.
  • Am I able to add tips when paying through OVE?
    Yes, if the business you are at allows customers to give tips you will see the request on the OVE Sensor screen and you will be able to add to your bill before you pay. Every OVE Sensor has a touchable screen.

  • Can OVE Fingerprint data server be hacked?
    OVE Touch & Go’s Fingerprint Data Servers are not accessible to the open internet, instead they are accessible through OVE’s Intranet and ONLY connects on secured protocols within its network. OVE’s fingerprint server is behind firewalls and only accessible through an internal network on SSL protocol.
  • Does anyone have access to my encrypted fingerprint data?
    No, OVE Touch & Go creates secure and encrypted personalized tokens for each fingerprint data which can not be decrypted or reverse engineered by anyone, including the OVE Management team. The proprietary algorithm makes the fingerprint data safe and secure from potential hackers and attacks.
  • Can merchants see my fingerprints, personal or financial data if I pay using OVE at their location?
    No, OVE Touch & Go does NOT share any fingerprint or personal data with merchants or any other type of integration, OVE only shares limited data about the payment information you chose to pay with (E.g. last 4 digits of payment card, and status of the transaction) as it happens anywhere today with ordinary payment methods.
  • How am I protected against fraud?
    OVE Touch & Go is more than just a seamless way to pay, it’s a fraud protection ecosystem designed to secure customers during payment transactions at point-of-sale. For your account to be approved you must pass through an identity check during sign up, once verified you will be able to add your payment options and our system will instantly check if they belong to you.     OVE Touch & Go does not collect, use or store fingerprint images in its own system in any format. OVE creates secure and encrypted proprietary algorithms (tokens) for each fingerprint data which can not be decrypted or reverse engineered.
  • Can someone duplicate my fingerprint in any way?
    No, duplicating any fingerprint is not possible as the encrypted key (token) created with our proprietary algorithm is unique just as fingerprints are unique.

    OVE Touch & Go does not collect, use or store fingerprint images in its own system in any format. OVE creates secure and encrypted proprietary algorithms (tokens) for each fingerprint data which can not be decrypted or reverse engineered.
  • Can someone duplicate my fingerprint in any way?
    No, duplicating any fingerprint is not possible as the encrypted key (token) created with our proprietary algorithm is unique just as fingerprints are unique.
